Lights & Refractions: An AirPods Max Study

This project is a personal study focused on the interaction between light, material, and form, using a modeled representation of the AirPods Max as a reference object. The work explores how refraction, reflection, and diffusion behave across transparent and fluid media such as glass and water, shaping perception and visual depth. By isolating lighting conditions and material responses, the project focuses on allowing subtle shifts in light to define the experience rather than surface complexity. The result is a series of frames that function as both technical exploration and visual composition, highlighting how controlled lighting can transform a familiar product into an expressive spatial moment.
