Pepper Dem

This project is part of an ongoing exploration focused on reimagining familiar cultural ideas as refined product experiences. Drawing from the Nigerian slang “Pepper Dem”, a phrase associated with confidence, presence, and visual impact, I translated the expression into a conceptual lipcare line designed to make a statement through form, finish, and tone.The collection explores how everyday language and cultural attitude can inform product identity, packaging aesthetics, and material expression. Through controlled color palettes, sculpted forms, and subtle variation across product editions, the work positions lipcare not just as utility, but as an experience rooted in self-expression and quiet swagger.
