Info
Between Craft and Calm is a three-part visualization series exploring furniture as an emotional anchor within space. Developed during my internship at a furniture production company in Ibadan, the series reflects a growing understanding of material processes and how they translate into digital environments. Each piece is designed as a moment rather than a scene allowing form, texture, and context to quietly shape how the space is felt. The series unfolds in progression: The Garden introduces solitude and tranquility, inspired by the idea of presence without performance. Coastal Calm opens the space outward, using light, horizon, and placement to evoke ease and breath. Aso-Oke & Sunshine grounds the journey in warmth and culture, pairing teak furniture with traditional fabric to suggest familiarity and shared comfort. Together, the works reflect a balance between engineering understanding and experiential design, where how furniture is made informs how it is staged, experienced, and remembered.
