Monochrome and In-Betweens

Monochrome and In-Betweens is an independent footwear design and visualization study where I explored how form behaves when stripped down to tone, surface, and proportion.Using Bottega Veneta as a reference point rather than a template, I designed an original shoe model, focusing on silhouette clarity and material presence. The project investigates monochromatic environments as controlled spaces, not to mute expression, but to sharpen it, allowing subtle shifts in color, light, and texture to carry the narrative.Rather than presenting the shoe in isolation, I composed it as an experience: a spatial study where object and environment are in dialogue. The result is a quiet but deliberate visual language that emphasizes transition, balance, and design intention over excess.This project reflects my approach as an Experience Architect; designing not just products, but the conditions under which they are perceived.
