Earthy Tones

Earthy Tones is a 3D visualization study centered on furniture as an extension of the natural world. The project features a personal iteration of the Essesi Raya Lounge Chair, paired with a reinterpretation of the Essesi Space Time Lamp, reimagined here as a table centerpiece.The narrative explores the idea that furniture does not merely occupy space, but originates from it, shaped by earth, texture, and material memory. Warm, grounded tones and controlled lighting were used to create a calm, tactile environment that feels rooted rather than staged.The focus was not just on form accuracy, but on atmosphere, allowing materiality, proportion, and composition to quietly communicate the relationship between design and nature.This project sits at the intersection of visualization, furniture design thinking, and environmental storytelling.
